Just started this blog aside of my general (Dutch) blog, the reason for this blog is to keep everyone posted on my plans for, and reports of my cycling trip in New Zealand. This country is called by the indigenous Mãori "Aotearoa", explaining the title of this blog.
It is my intention to visit my sister in January of 2009 in Hamilton, NZ, and cycle round both the Northern and Southern Island. The reason for this trip is my graduation from the University of Twente.
In a couple of days I will post some more information about this trip, though for now I think it is enough.
