So after a week of being ill, a few friends had asked me if I wanted to join them for a half a day of paddling. I felt quite fine, so of course had to say yes :).
It was a wonderful half day spent on the Dinkel, a small river on the border area of the Netherlands and Germany. Time starts to catch up pretty quick again, my trip to New Zealand is only about two months away. In that time I still have to manage a pretty hard deadline from work, complete my gear, and clean my bike ;-).
It is now also time to see if I do have all the gear I want to take, and if it actually fits in all my bags. Once delivered, and almost sent to the printer my direct supervisor found a small error in the preface, which included a wrong name. Oops! But eventually everything turned out alright .. pfew!
