Apart from working on my thesis, last weekend I also had some time to go over a number of blogposts that I had missed out on in the past time. Well, after some thinking the route that I originally planned, I missed out a couple of places of interest. Such as Hobbiton (near Matamata, Waikato), the skiing areas on Mt. Ruapehu (Whakapapa Village, Waikato), and the Huka Falls (Warakei, Waikato). These points were not in my previously planned route, and from what I heard pretty amazing. Hi,Just started this blog aside of my general (Dutch) blog, the reason for this blog is to keep everyone posted on my plans for, and reports of my cycling trip in New Zealand. This country is called by the indigenous Mãori "Aotearoa", explaining the title of this blog.It is my intention to visit my sister in January of 2009 in Hamilton, NZ, and cycle round both the Northern and Southern Island.
